Attendance~
Consistent attendance is very important for a dancer’s success. The absence of even one student affects the entire group. For this reason, dancers are expected to be at all classes. Keep dance a priority and watch your dancer thrive, grow, and shine!
Check out our attendance policies here.
Dress Code~
The very first reason why we have a dress code is safety. When a dancer is in proper shoes/attire, less accidents are likely to happen and our instructors can correct mistakes that could possibly lead to injury. Proper attire can lead to less distractions and an increased focus due to the mindset it creates. Dressing the part of a dancer can make the youngest (and the oldest) movers feel like a dancer, therefore leading to an increase in confidence. BRDA is a safe space where everyBODY is beautiful but if there are any issues with our dress code like sensory issues, please contact a studio representative so we can ensure your dancer is comfortable and ready to learn!
Make sure you can dress for success by viewing our dress code here.
Class Placements~
Unlike other studios in the area, we place students in classes based upon technical ability first and age second. While age gives our staff a general range of where your dancer should be technically, we also consider previous training, classroom etiquette, adherence to our studio policies and whether they have mastered most aspects of our curriculum in the level that matches their age.
If a dancer is at the incorrect level, they will most likely feel embarrassed, frustrated, discouraged and that is when their self esteem becomes poor and their love of dance disappears.
However, we always offer one-on-one evaluations if a dancer feels they are not in the correct level. But overall, we want what is truly best for each dancer and class placements are how we grow healthy, happy and talented dancers!
Inclement Weather/Class Cancellations:
The safety of our students, parents, and teachers is our number one priority. Snow, ice, wind, or dangerous temperatures are all adequate reasons we may cancel classes.
In the event of a closure, it is then the teacher’s discretion as to whether to hold classes online via the platform Zoom.
Despite holding classes online or cancelling, refunds will not be offered and no deductions from monthly tuition payments will be made.
Studio closures due to weather will be posted on Facebook, Band, and Instagram by 2 p.m. Sometimes, the roads will be clear for our evening classes and that will also be communicated via the same platforms as closures. When in doubt, give us a call and even if we do not answer, our voicemail will be changed to inform you whether we are closed.
We typically follow the Fulton City School District for weather closures, but we also consider surrounding areas. These highly influence our decision but do not solely determine a closure.

We strive to offer the highest quality dance education in the area while keeping our services as affordable as possible.
We offer custom payment plans if needed. We believe everyBODY is beautiful and deserves a chance to dance!
